For those interested in joining a club with a pool, Aiken offers multiple choices for a seasonal membership. Houndslake Country Club provides a summertime “Splash” pool membership, granting access to the pool along PLUS other benefits at the golf club, dining facilities, and racquet sports. Another viable option is the Fermata Club, which offers memberships as well. Fermata club also offers tennis and event space. Both options provide you with different amenities and price points to meet your families needs.

Bodies of Water for Swimming

If club membership is not the right fit for your family, Aiken also presents opportunities for non-membership swimming in local, natural swimming holes. For instance, Richardson’s Lake features enjoyable amenities such as water slides, a high dive, and a refreshment stand. Additionally, Langley Pond Park has a designated swimming area plus land attractions including a playground and a disc golf course situated within a mature forest trail along Langley Ponds. These are both lovely options for enjoying the natural amenities Aiken is known for offering.
